Class will start with a basic body warm up and stretching followed by some Waacking foundation. We will work in correct arm placement, presicion and strenght. Also will focus on clean lines, posture and actitud. Class will end with a Waacking combo and a freestyle jam.

Learn Salsa On 2 with Frances Nieves and Beto Rojas.
Salsa now days is very popular all over the world. Like in other dances there is different styles and Frances and Beto practice the world known NY Style On 2 also called Mambo. A style that enphazises in quick foot work, fast spins and and a funky groove. When people dance On 2 they dance the basic Salsa step to the percusion in the music also been able to go out of it in their freestyle or how we called in the Salsa world "shines". That is what makes this style so complex and full of flavor.
The On 2 class starts with a foot work combination that will help the student to improve their freestyle and at the same time warm the body up for the partner work where the students get to dance in couples differents Salsa paterns.
Every Wednesday at LA Dance Center but the last Wednesday of every month that you can find us at Stevens Steak House for LA is Dancing On 2: the social.
